CONVERSATIONAL IMPLICATURES FOUND IN THE DIALOGUE OF THE SIXTH SENSE MOVIE

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikatur percakapan dan penerapan prinsip kerja sama yang terdapat dalam dialog film The Sixth Sense. Analisis berdasarkan metodologi kualitatif yang menitikberatkan pada tiga permasalahan, yaitu: (1) pelanggaran maksim apa saja yang ditemukan dalam film The Sixth Sense?; (2) pelanggaran maksim apa yang paling dominan ditemukan dalam film The Sixth Sense?; dan (3) berapa banyak dialog yang mengandung prinsip kerja sama yang ditemukan dalam film The Sixth Sense? Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tujuh belas pelanggaran maksim meliputi delapan data melanggar maksim kualitas, tiga data melanggar maksim kuantitas, tiga data melanggar maksim tata krama, dan tiga data yang melanggar maksim relevansi. Peneliti juga menemukan enam data prinsip kerja sama dalam objek penelitian. Teori tersebut berhasil diterapkan terhadap data pelanggaran maksim dan prinsip kerja sama dalam film The Sixth Sensemovie. COOPERATIVE PRINCIPLE IN QUORA Q&A SOCIAL MEDIA: PRAGMATIC APPROACH

Peneliti menyelidiki bagaimana melakukan percakapan secara efisien dan efektif dalam media berbasis komputer menggunakan teori prinsip kooperatif Grice. Peneliti menggunakan metode Kualitatif. Peneliti mengambil salah satu pertanyaan di Quora Indonesia “Mengapa dosen atau pihak kampus tidak melarang mahasiswa ikut demo?”, jawaban dari pertanyaan tersebut dijadikan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat jenis Ketidakpatuhan terhadap maksim, yaitu memilih keluar dari maksim pada 9 (100%) dari 17 jawaban: memilih keluar dari kuantitas maksim (22%), memilih keluar dari kualitas maksim (22%), tidak mengikuti relevansi maksim (22%), tidak mengikuti cara maksim (33%).

Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between superior-subordinate communication on work productivity with work enthusiasm and positive work attitudes as mediating variables at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province. Methodology: This research uses associative research type with quantitative paradigm. The population and sample used in this study, namely all employees/staff at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province, totaling 118 staff. The saturated sampling technique is used to determine the research sample. Path analysis research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direct or indirect relationship, between independent and dependent variables. Descriptive statistics are also used to discuss the research findings in greater depth. Primary data were processed using IBM SPSS 23 software. Finding: The superior-subordinate communication has a positive significant impact on work productivity either directly or indirectly through work enthusiasm and positive work attitudes. The results justify the significant contribution of superior-subordinate to work enthusiasm. Conclusion: The results of research related to superior-subordinate communication relations, work enthusiasm, and positive work attitudes towards work productivity in general have shown good conditions. However, in particular, there needs to be a better improvement regarding the communication relations between superiors and subordinates, work enthusiasm, and positive work attitudes of employees to increase the work productivity of employees at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province.
