Children as one of the legal subjects in this country must also be subject to and
comply with the applicable laws. According to Law No. 23 of 2002, namely all
activities to guarantee and protect children and their rights so that they can live,
grow, develop, and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity and
protection from violence and discrimination.
From the results of the exploration carried out with the normative juridical
research method in this study it was found that the responsibility for criminal acts
committed by children is regulated in Article 170 Paragraph (2) of the 1st Criminal
Code concerning criminal acts with joint personnel committing violence against
people who cause injury,
In the application of a crime by a judge against a child, a criminal act in a
court decision that is legally proven and if he commits a criminal act. Children in
conflict with the law must receive special protection, which is in Law Number 35 of
2014 Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002
concerning Child Protection.
