PT Mitra Agung Sawita Sejati is a company engaged in the palm oil industry sector and the product it produces is palm oil (CPO). The production process consists of several stations starting from the loading ramp, sterilizer, capstan, threshing, pressing, clarification, and ricovery. In the production process flow there is a process of returning empty lorry by pulling alternately weighing 15 kg from the capstan station to the loading ramp station with a distance of 40 meters, this causes fatigue for employees at the capstan station, this is characterized by pain in the wrists, arms and thighs. Fatigue was measured by the nordic body map questionnaire with a fatigue score (3).
his study used the nordic body map questionnaire method and the 2016 promodel simulation application, to simulate the working system of an empty lorry pusher.
This study aims to create a work system simulation of a lorry propulsion device to reduce fatigue for employees at the capstan station. Comparison of time and unit empty lorries results in returns from the capstan station to the loading ramp.
