Attendance is important data in every activity of an agency, with the presence of attendance, the agency can find out the performance of its employees to maximize the agency. Universitas Harapan Medan itself, since the COVID-19 pandemic, many employees have worked from home, and for the attendance system, they still use WhatsApp which includes a photo of the employee's face and name. With the attendance system, the performance of the agency is not effective because there are a large number of incoming employees, making the agency need time to track who has not filled in attendance, and make the agency's performance ineffective. Therefore, Universitas Harapan Medan needs a system that can make the attendance process more accurate and in accordance with the standards. The system in question is attendance based on face identification or Face Recognition.
