Material requirements are estimates of the amount of material needed for a project or related work. One of the factors that affects material requirements is the method of calculation. The method used in this research is applied research through a quantitative approach, using data collection techniques needed to calculate material requirements. This thesis aims to assist individuals who want to calculate material requirements for sports field construction projects. The research subject of this study is the construction of a badminton court in the Dinas PUPKP of Bener Meriah Meriah. The objective is to determine the estimated material requirements for the construction of the sports field. This study utilizes the MATLAB application to analyze material requirements. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that MATLAB can serve as an alternative tool for calculating material requirements.
