dc.description.abstract | This study purpose to determine the effect of career development and compensation partially and simultaneously on job satisfaction and its implications for organizational commitment. associative with a quantitative approach, the population in this study were employees who worked at PT. Perusahaan Nusantara II (Persero) Tanjung Morawa as many as 392 people, and random sampling so that the sample used was 198 respondents. The data source is primary data with data collection techniques namely, questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is path analysis. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that (1) Career Development has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. (2) Compensation has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. (3) Career Development significantly influences Organizational Commitment. (4) Compensation has a significant effect on Organizational Commitment. (5) Satisfaction significantly influences Organizational Commitment. (6) Career Development significantly influences Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction. (7) Significant compensation for Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction.
