A company or institution such as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) will require a parking area due to several important reasons, such as accommodating the vehicles of visitors and employees who come to the office or company facilities. Employees or visitors need a safe, comfortable, and convenient place to park their vehicles. An organized parking area will help reduce the risk of theft or damage within the parking premises. A well-monitored parking area can enhance security levels. Some companies or institutions have specific needs involving transportation to improve security. Currently, the entry and exit of vehicles are still manually managed, resulting in low security levels. Therefore, researchers design a Web-based Parking Information System using QR Codes at PT. Bank Sumut that can play a significant role in managing the security, convenience, and ease of a company or institution. A computerized information system can assist visitors of PT. Bank Sumut and the coordinator in providing security for the transportation used by employees and visitors, while also reducing concerns about vehicle safety. The management of parking at companies or institutions is expected to become more structured, efficient, and provide an enhanced experience. The application is developed for Android, utilizing the PHP and MySQL programming languages, with system testing conducted using the Blackbox Method to ensure the company can safeguard the system from potential attacks or misuse, making it challenging for attackers to gain sufficient insights to exploit vulnerabilities. From the obtained results, the system will record vehicle entry and exit times along with their license plate numbers by scanning their respective QR Codes.
