dc.description.abstract Technological developments can change the way of human life to be more advanced and efficient, in the context of implementing existing technology, many elderly people have difficulty accessing electrical equipment because it is difficult to move then they are designed to control some electrical equipment wirelessly by utilizing a smartphone designed based on an AVR microcontroller. namely atmega 8. This microcontroller can control several electrical objects such as lights, fans based on user commands with a maximum distance of 10 m using a radio frequency network, namely Bluetooth which is controlled by an android smartphone. By utilizing the google voice recognizer system, it can be controlled by a voice spoken on a smartphone, then the voice will be identified as a search command.
