A place of worship is a public facility built to meet the needs of religious people in carrying out their obligations to worship God Almighty.Places of worship in North Sumatra Province include mosques, churches, monasteries, temples, and temples. The increasing number of worshipers can cause the capacity of places of worship to be inadequate, so public have to look for other places of worship. The next consideration is the condition and location of the building that is easy to visit and the building facilities and infrastructure are factors that support activities in worship.Until now, the government and the surrounding community are trying to determine the location of the construction of strategic places of worship, which can be used by tourists in terms of worshiping God.Considering that the government has not yet carried out a mapping to find out which areas have been built or have not been places of worship. In order for the mapping process of places of worship to be more objective, of course a tool is needed, namely an information system that can process existing data into useful information. The technique used in data processing is data mining. There are 33 regencies/cities in North Sumatra Province consisting of 25 regencies and 8 cities, with the spread of places of worship in North Sumatra over the last 10 years. The method used is K-Medoids. The application of the k-medoids algorithm using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 .NET shows that the data on the distribution of places of worship in North Sumatra for 2011 to 2020 are divided into 5 clusters where in cluster 1 there are 44 members, cluster 2 has 23 members. , cluster 3 has 49 members, cluster 4 has 64, and cluster 5 has 150.
