Scholarship awarding is a work program that exists in every school. This program is held to ease the burden on students in taking the study period, especially in terms of costs. In accordance with the regulations that have been determined by SMA N 1 Kotapinang to process this scholarship assistance, criteria are needed to determine who is selected to receive the assistance. However, the student affairs department at SMA N 1 Kotapinang has difficulty in determining the provision of assistance due to the large number of students. In each new school period, the student affairs department selects students who deserve help. This selection process requires precision and time, as the student's data will be compared with the help criteria one by one. Thus, a system is needed that can help in making these decisions so that results are obtained more quickly, effectively and efficiently. One of the sciences of decision support systems using the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method can provide quite good decision results and with easy work steps. Based on the concept of the MFEP method, this study got the results of 5 students who received assistance with a ≥ score of 4.0. Meanwhile, 5 students have not been declared to have received aid funds because they have not met the criteria for beneficiaries and the results obtained < 4.0. The results of this study can determine which students are eligible and not eligible for assistance using the mfep method. With this application, it has helped the school, especially the Student Affairs section, in receiving information and making decisions in determining the provision of assistance to underprivileged students. It is hoped that this application can minimize the occurrence of errors in determining the provision of assistance to underprivileged students at SMA N 1 Kotapinang.
