| dc.description.abstract | From the initial research that the researchers did, the indication of profit growth used was net income. Net income is profit generated after deducting losses outside the business and income tax. The choice of net profit is because it reflects the focus of the company's very important performance. Profit growth is a percentage increase in profit per year. The profit change indicator used in this study is profit before tax. There are many factors that influence the profit growth of a company including financial ratios. Financial ratios can be used to predict profit growth. Of the various types of financial ratios available, researchers used Return On Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) on profit growth in Mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2016. The sample in this study are to 15 companies during the 4-year period so that they had observational data of 60 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results show that net profit margin has a significant effect on profit growth. Debt to equity ratio has a significant effect on profit growth, the current ratio has no significant effect on profit growth, total assets turnover has a significant effect on profit growth. | en_US |
