dc.description.abstract Blow molding type parker is a machine for the process of forming products made of plastic by injecting it first for the plastic feeder to be blown. If sales are high, Parkers Blow Molding Type work is also very high. Maintenance or maintenance of machines and equipment that is carried out is very necessary in carrying out production process activities so that they can run smoothly. The research method used in this research is the study of literature and the application of preventive and corrective maintenance methods. The type of damage that often occurs in the Parker type blow molding machine is the shaft bottom mold component which often gets a lifting load that exceeds the ideal capacity of the lifting load. The results of this study are the maximum lifting force of the shaft bottom mold is 1.87 tons with a shaft length of 25 cm with a diameter of 2.5 cm and using the type of preventive maintenance, namely maintenance to prevent before the occurrence of damage. Where the company will pay for corrective maintenance of IDR 130,200,000 per year. If compared, the company will take preventive measures of Rp. 62.160.000,- per year, then the difference in treatment is Rp. 68.040.000,en_US
