Geographic Information System is a system that can provide some information about the location and position of a location. This geographical information system combines elements of the System, Information and geographical which places more emphasis on the elements of geographical information which can later be used to obtain geographic information appropriately. There are a number of geographic information systems in which not only display geographical information of a place, but also added other facilities such as the shortest route search facility. Route search is closely related between distance and search at a location or place in a mapping. Users want to go to a location, the user will analyze the closest distance to reach a location with a very short time, in this case the hospital. The hospital is a health care institution that organizes individual health services in a comprehensive manner that provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. The development of this technology basically can help the community and migrants to find the location of the nearest hospital facility. With this android-based geographic information technology, people can find the nearest hospital facilities more easily and efficiently. One of the Algorithms used to determine the nearest route is the Bellman-Ford Algorithm which implements a heuristic function so that it will provide the most effective and efficient route search results.
