dc.description.abstract Along with the times, technological developments are currently growing rapidly in accordance with human needs at the moment. One of them is the demand for safe and comfortable home technology that are getting increasing. The technology applied in the house uses the Smarthome design. Smarthome is a concept that the various IoT devices available for home use make them smart. The devices include motion detectors, lawn sprinklers, smart doors, solar panels, and many other IoT devices. Nowadays, simulation is important in many ways, especially for various researches and studies which are conducted using the simulation method as a way to solve problems. Cisco Packet Tracer 7.3 is an application that helps in simulating IoT devices. The results obtained from the simulation of the concept of house door security, air conditioning control and automatic fire extinguishing can run well, but the heating element to increase the room temperature is slow.
