Harapan University Medan (UNHAR) is one of the private tertiary institutions in North Sumatra Province, precisely located on Jl. HM. Joni No. 70 C, Medan city. The field of education, especially universities, at this time requires the support of information systems in improving the quality of service to the educational process. There are many types of this educational process, including the administration of thesis guidance and practical work. The process of writing a thesis is the final stage that must be taken by students to obtain a bachelor's degree which in the process is guided by two supervisors. The guidance process usually takes quite a long time due to the difficulty of meeting the supervising lecturer so that it can be detrimental to students in the thesis guidance process. In the process of developing applications for thesis administration and practical work using the UCD (User Centered Design) method, UCD is a design philosophy that places the user as the center of an application development process. The purpose of this research is to produce web-based thesis administration applications and practical work at the University of Harapan Medan Information Systems Study Program, with the implementation of this system it will make it easier for students, lecturers, and information systems study programs.
