Waste disposal in Indonesia continues to increase every day, especially waste made of plastic. Plastic materials are very easy to find everywhere and most plastics can be recycled. Plastic waste is very dangerous because it is very difficult to decompose, if plastic waste takes too long it will cause global warming which has a very impact on humans, then a tool that can melt plastics is needed to make various forms using the casting method, casting is a process of pouring liquid material into mold, it is necessary to build an injection molding machine. In the injection molding machine design, an automatic pressing system using pneumatics is designed. In the injection molding machine design, it is made to produce a mold for a knife handle product design from PET plastic waste. The design of injection molding machines uses pneumatics with a maximum pressure of 10 bar and the pneumatic force is 4 x 105 N, heating tubes with an inner diameter of 54 mm and using a piston with a diameter of 53.4 mm and a piston length of 21 mm with a tube volume of 59044.01cm3, heater using 2 band heater with a diameter of 59 mm and a length of 77 mm.
