Automatic bottle cap closing and locking machine is a device that will be designed to close bottles with an automatic turning system without the help of human hands. Therefore we need a machine to expedite and accelerate the production process in order to produce quality products in a fast and precise production time in accordance with the company's targets. So that the packaged beverage products can meet broad market demand to remote corners of the archipelago and even internationally. The development and growth of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is one of the most important drivers for economic development and growth in many countries, including Indonesia (Tunky & Kohardinata, 2016). This MSME is a packaging problem that still uses traditional tools, from poor packaging it will cause the quality of the product to decrease. For this reason, a simpler tool is needed to carry out the production, which is intended for small and medium enterprises. Based on these problems, the design of the bottle cap closing and locking device on the automatic filling machine using a DC motor drive and testing of the working speed and torque of the locking device was carried out at a fairly affordable price. From the results of the design and analysis, it can be concluded that the machine uses a PLC and Motor System DC type RS 775 DC as a lock, has a rotating speed of 13,000-15,000 rpm without load, and with 0.32 torque. The time obtained when locking the bottle cap is about 3-4 seconds per 4 bottles, where this system processes 4 bottles once Street. From the test results it can also be concluded that the Limit Switch (LS), Photoelectric, Pneumatic, Conveyor and PLC sensors designed can provide synchronous commands in programming.
