Wheels are a means of propulsion of the motor to be able to move forward or backward. Wheels are an important spare part in the automotive world, because the wheels make the tire shape into a perfect round which allows the vehicle to move from one place to another. Wheels are also an accident-prone point because these parts receive heavy loads and impacts when facing an uneven road texture. The wheels that are often circulating in the market are cast wheels. In this study, researchers conducted research on the material of motorcycle wheels. The wheels used are motorcycle alloy wheels. The use of this type of wheel selection is because in general users in Indonesia are more interested in using cast well wheels because they have advantages in handling. And also using the main material, namely aluminum. The method used in this study is a compression test method using a UTM machine. Material testing machine with a length of 0,0608 m using ASTM D790. The results of the study have 5 specimens for the first specimen on the rim having a compressive stress with a value of 5.461,86 Mpa and a strain of 0.16, the second specimen on the rim having a compressive stress with a value of 5.461,68 Mpa and a strain of 0.13, the third specimen on the rim having a stress compression with a value of 5.461,86 Mpa and a strain of 0.18, the fourth specimen on the rim has a compressive stress of 4.372,53 Mpa and a strain of 0.19, the fifth specimen on the rim has a compressive stress of 5.461,86 Mpa and a strain of 0.16 .
