The office kitchen is a place for employees and office boys to do cooking, making drinks and storing other food ingredients. The facilities in the office kitchen are electric stove, microwave, coffee machine etc. The design of an automatic office kitchen system aims to change the automatic switch system on lights and outlets. The design of an automatic kitchen system uses the Arduino Uno R3 as a microcontroller, PIR sensor, MQ-2 smoke sensor, 12 vdc adapter, relay module, led light, power outlet, exhaust fan, 16 x 2 LCD, 5 vdc voltage stepdown, jumper cables. The way the automatic office kitchen system works is that when the user enters the kitchen or dining room, the PIR 1 and PIR 2 sensors automatically capture the signal and send data to the Arduino Uno R3 which is then processed and sends a signal to the relay as a switch for lights and outlets, when the user is cooking and in the cooking process it emits smoke, then the MQ-2 smoke sensor will pick up a signal and send a signal to the Arduino Uno R3 which is then processed and sends a signal to the relay as a switch. The lag time on for each sensor is made different. The design and programming of the Arduino Uno R3 uses the Arduino 1.8.13 IDE software. The test results of the automatic office kitchen system design have been carried out with a pause time in the kitchen and dining room lights for 12.50 seconds, the AC fan is on for 17.65 seconds and the exhaust fan is on for 15.65 seconds (depending on the amount of smoke in the kitchen).
