Water is the main need in the life of living things, both humans, plants, and animals/livestock. Chicken is one type of poultry that is widely raised by the community. One of the most influential factors in determining the success of a chicken farm is drinking water. Where the chicken drinking container should not be empty and not fully filled. This is done to increase the appetite of the chicken.. The development of technology that is growing rapidly today, one of which is control technology. Microcontroller can be the basis for the performance of an automation system because it can be integrated with peripheral input and output through each port so that it can be a solution in meeting technological needs. One of them is the need for an automatic livestock feeding system so that it can assist farmers in carrying out their duties. This study will create a prototype of automatic drinking water with the aim of producing an automatic drinking water filling device in the chicken coop, to make it easier for chicken farmers to provide drinking water to pet chickens. and Monitoring using a smartphone on drinking water in chicken coops.
So with automatic drinking water, breeders can easily cut drinking water for chickens in the chicken coop without having to come to the chicken coop.
