EFFECT OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OHS) ON EMPLOYEE WORK PRODUCTIVITYTHROUGH EMPLOYEE
FATIGUEPRODUCTION PARTS PT CANANG INDAH
MEDAN BELAWAN INDUSTRY
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of occupational health and safety (OHS) on work productivity of employees of the production division of PT Canang Indah Industri Medan Belawan. And to find out whether fatigue has an effect as a direct intermediary between occupational health and safety (OHS) on work productivity. This type of research is quantitative research.
The population in this study were all employees of the production department (Maintenance Sub Department) at PT Canang Indah Industri, as many as 140 respondents. The sample used in this study was a saturated sample of 108 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study is the Sobel Test. The results showed that occupational health and safety (OHS) had a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Based on the results of the Sobel Test, it was found that the fatigue variable had no effect as a direct intermediary between occupational health and safety (OHS) and work productivity.
