As a snack business actor, there are several things that must be considered, such as in choosing the type of snack. Business actors must choose the right snack supplies to be sold according to consumer desires, so that consumer needs will be met. So far, UD 45 Serdang Bedagai business has done subjective selection of snacks for sale and has not used technology with computers. To solve this problem, a decision support system is needed to help business actors so that they are not wrong in choosing snacks that will be used as supplies. This research is to obtain a decision support system as a tool to prepare goods, with the aim of implementing this decision support system, helping snack food businesses at UD 45 Serdang Bedagai can accurately determine the inventory of goods. In this study using the TOPSIS method. The TOPSIS method will rank alternatives that guarantee an approach with profit criteria and cost criteria. System implementation is done by using database access and VB.Net language. The SPK that was built was able to generate recommendations by ranking snacks according to their preferences.
