Reinforced concrete is a combination of concrete and rebar, which is it work together to support the existing load. Rebar will provide a strong tensile that is not owned by concrete. The most important thing when designed of reinforced concrete structures is the deflection that occurs due to the load being held by the structure. The reinforced concrete structures subjected must have bending sufficient stiffness to limit deflections that may weaken the strength and serviceability of the structure under working loads. The first step is the flexural analysis of reinforced concrete beams by calculating the external forces and own loads (Ultimate Moment) using the SAP2000 application with known loads and materials from the data and working drawings, then comparing the results of the calculation of internal forces with the moment of resistance on the material with the requirements Mu ≤ ϕMn. The calculation of the moment of resistance (Mn) is based on (SNI 2847: 2013). After calculating the ultimate moment and nominal resistance, the results obtained are Mu = 9.0304 kN.m < Mn = 66.832 KN.m, so it can be concluded that the reinforced concrete sloof construction is safe against deflection.
