Safety and Occupational Health (K3) protects the safety and health of employees in carrying out their work, seeks to control all forms of potential hazards that exist in the work environment. PT. The Nusantara Plantation Tea Factory Unit Tobasari Plantation is part of PTPN IV which operates in the metered industry. The main product to be processed is tea. PTPN IV Tobasari Tea Factory Unit is a very risky work environment. The factory production process is also not far from risks such as big fires. During the production of PTPN IV, the Tobasari unit needs a work safety program to develop employee creativity so that the quality and results of the company's production are good.
The method used in this study is the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Control (HIRAC) method. In Hazard Identification, identification of potential hazards that may occur is carried out, and the next step is Risk Assessment Control, namely assessing risk based on Likelihood and Severity.
The results showed that there were 12 potential hazards identified and categorized into 3 risk ratings, of which 55% were in high risk (high), 26% were in moderate risk, and 19% were in low risk (low).
