The Senior High School Plus of Langkat development project is a project consisting of 9 types of buildings, namely office buildings, New Classrooms, teacher rooms and IT rooms, library rooms and computer rooms, gates and guard posts, waiting and receiving rooms, Health Unit building School, canteen and public toilets. This project has a total building area of 2,208,430 m2. Due to the different types of buildings, both in terms of function and size, the structure of each building is also different. The difference in structure is what makes the concrete work and reinforcement of each building different. The thing that most influences the difference in the reinforcement work of the structures of these buildings is the difference in the size of the reinforcing steel used, the bending and cutting of the reinforcing steel. These three things are parameters of success in reinforcement work in order to avoid or reduce waste material. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the reinforcement by making a Bar Bending Schedule (BBS). The method used in calculating the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) is using the SNI 2847:2013 and BS 8666:2005 methods. From the results of the comparative analysis of the volume and cost of the two Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) methods, it is found that the cost optimization of 0.2301% (for the BS 8666:2005 method), means that the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) calculation with the BS 8666:2005 method can reduce the cost of reinforcing steel is 0.2301% or Rp 374.601,02 compared to using the SNI 2847:2013 method.
