dc.description.abstract This virus, called Covid-19 or Corona Virus, has had effects and symptoms that can kill humans with various compilations of the diseases they have. The problem that occurs is the public panic who is reluctant to leave the house and is afraid of being exposed to the Corona Virus to carry out their daily activities even to go to the hospital with symptoms that resemble those of Corona Virus exposure. In addition, the number of hospitals that became full was due to the handling of Corona Virus which is the main priority for handling minor illnesses in the community in general. Therefore an expert system application is needed to diagnose symptoms of Covid-19 or Corona Virus. Expert systems also require a method that can operate, in this study the method used is Forward Chaining, the Forward Chaining method solves every symptom that appears and continues the next symptoms in the same rule so that a decision tree is formed. The use of an expert system in the application can help symptom companions who want to diagnose symptoms of Covid- 19 or Corona Virus more easily and flexibly than having to see a doctor. The final result in this study is that the application is able to display the disease from the symptoms of Covid- 19 or Corona Virus which is entered quickly and accurately according to the Forward Chaining method.
