Abstract
Water is the source of life and plays an important role in supporting human activities. With the development of all aspects of life as a result of the increasing rate of population growth and development, the demand for water and services also increases. Manggis village is an area that has limited clean water so that in some areas of the district. Multipurpose uses the river as a source of raw water. Along with the increase in population, of course, the need for raw water is increasing, so it is necessary to arrange a study to obtain a continuous source of surface water that is suitable for processing into clean water. This study aims to determine the magnitude of population growth or increase in the next 10 years and to determine the amount of clean water needs in Manggis Village, Kec. Serba Jadi. The method used in this research is by using a case study approach. Based on the results of the analysis, the total water demand in the service zone in Manggis Village in the existing condition is 53395.2 liters/day and for the total water demand in the service zone in Manggis Village in the projection for the next 10 years is 68601.6 liters/day. So that it is necessary to add new water sources to meet the clean water needs of the population which is increasing from year to year.
