dc.description.abstract | Image segmentation is a process to distinguish or separate objects in an image, such as separating objects from their background. In this study, segment the partially overlapping cell images and count the number of cells in an image using the Fuzzy C-Means method. Pre-processing is done first to facilitate the pattern recognition process in an image. Fuzzy C-Means is used to separate partially overlapping objects and count the number of cells in an image by determining Fuzzyness. Fuzzy C-Means is used to group data based on the closest distance and then perform color labeling based on the results of Fuzzy C-Means processing. The results of segmentation on satellite images will be used to carry out the monitoring process on protected forest areas on a regular basis, and provide quick information on the condition of the protected forest area.
