Beams are very important structural elements in a building. In planning the
construction of the beam, it is planned to be strong enough to withstand the forces that
may occur according to the load calculation, both in the form of vertical and
horizontal forces. Beam is a flexible structure that has very complicated
characteristics because of the many forces it receives so that it is prone to damage.
One of the constructions that is often used in the construction of a building is
reinforced concrete. The construction of the beam using reinforced concrete is
intended so that the beam can have a flexural force and have stiffness so that it can
accept the loads and forces acting on the construction of a building. A development
certainly expects the building construction to be planned in accordance with
expectations, especially regarding construction safety, therefore before working on a
building construction a structural analysis must be carried out correctly and guided
by the SNI-2847-2013 regulations regarding the calculation of concrete structures for
buildings. A building structure consists of an upper structure and a lower structure.
The superstructure includes beams, plates, columns, as well as the roof and the lower
structure is the foundation. Before carrying out a construction construction, the first
thing that is carried out and carried out in the field is foundation work (substructure).
Pitting foundation is a transitional form between shallow foundation and pile
foundation. Pile foundations are relatively long and slender rods that are used to
transmit the foundation load through a layer of soil with low bearing capacity to a
layer of soil that has a high bearing capacity.
