dc.description.abstract This research entitles Moral Values in Gary Ross’ Movie Script Free State of Jones. The research objectives are intended to analysis the moral values and show how them depicted in Free State of Jones movie script. The theory of this research is Sociological of Literature by Ratna. The methodology of this study is descriptive qualitative method. The primary source of the data is Free State of Jones movie, and secondary source of the data is the script. The finding of this research is from 32 data, there are 11 moral values in Free State of Jones movie script they are; courage, respect, responsibility, justice, tolerance, wisdom, helps each other, love homeland, emphaty, loving the God, and humility and the dominant moral values are justice, courage, and help each other by total 6 in each scenes.en_US
