| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of internal audit, the effectiveness of internal control, and the application of good corporate governance principles to fraud prevention at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero). This study used qualitative with a causality approach. The population of this study is all internal auditors, and financial department employees at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan that totally 60 respondents. The sampling technique used the census method (saturated sampling). The method of data collection in this study was questionnaire. The research method used multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that partially the three variables, namely internal audit, the effectiveness of internal control, and the application of the principles of good corporate governance have positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. Simultaneously, variables of the internal audit, the effectiveness of internal control, and the application of the principles of good corporate governance have positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. | en_US |
