dc.description.abstract Coconut fiber peeler machine is a machine used to separate the fruit from the coconut fiber. The previous machine had a lack of a paring blade that was pointed like a spear located on the side of the roller, with a deficiency in the blade, a coconut fiber peeler-style design was carried out with an axial roller model with the aim of designing the working system of the coconut fiber peeler machine, planning coconut stripping force and rotation, Calculation of components of coconut fiber peeler machine elements such as: gancu- shaped paring knife, Shaft, Bearing, Gears, Determination of the type of electromotor and engine power used by the coconut fiber peeler machine. by using a paring knife that moves rotary made of S 24 C with a blade height of 18 mm, width 23 mm. Based on the characteristics of the coconut fruit, the stripping force of the coconut fiber is 155.2 kg and the rotation is 6 rpm. In the design of the power coconut fiber peeler machine which is planned for 1164 watts or 2 HP with an actual rotation of 940 rpm. from the results obtained it can be concluded that in designing the coconut fiber peeler machine the designer can determine the appropriate components to be used and can perform calculations for each component. Keywords: coconut fiber peeler, peeler machine. en_US
