Swallow birds, which produce nests as raw materials for a product, have high economic value. However, understanding of how to raise swiftlets is still limited, especially among the community and prospective swiftlet farmers, so technology is needed to make it easier for the community to simulate the implementation of swiftlet farming. This study designs software with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The Markerless method in the software created allows virtual objects to be positioned in a real image environment by examining the features in the data in real time, and provides information on the shape of the building, the tools used during harvesting, and how to determine the quality of the swiftlet nest, with the analysis of the problems studied aimed at fostering public interest in starting swiftlet farming which is considered innovative to increase public understanding. Interactive 3D visualization makes it easier to understand the initial steps to start raising swiftlets, and the use of AR can motivate and increase public interest, so that awareness of economic potential can be increased. Although AR has been widely applied, its use in swiftlet farming is still limited. This study focuses on the development and testing of AR applications as an educational tool to understand swallowfarming.
