To build a building with a heavy load, first a soil research survey (Soil Investigation) is carried out in order to know the physical properties, characteristics and bearing capacity of the soil layer for the purposes of designing the optimum and economical type and shape of the foundation. The foundation is a part of the sub-structure that functions to carry on the load of the upper structure (upper structure/super structure) which must be strong and safe to support the load from the upper structure (super structure) and the foundation's own weight. To be able to fulfill the above, soil investigation was carried out in the field by carrying out the Sondir Penetration Test (sondering test). Soil parameters in the form of cone resistance and skin friction are obtained from the sondir test results used in calculating the bearing capacity of the foundation. The purpose of this analysis is to calculate the bearing capacity of the foundation from the loading of existing soil data. with the type of Bored Pile foundation used based on the quality and size of the foundation used and compare the calculation of the results of the bearing capacity of the Bored Pile foundation with the results of the planning that has been implemented. The method used is the observation method to obtain technical data obtained from the survey results at the location. Data retrieval from CV.WAHANA AIRA MAKMUR in the form of soil tests, laboratory test results, and structural drawings, then conducted a literature study.
The results obtained from manual calculations are the largest bearing capacity of the Bored Pile foundation, which is 37,856 t/m2. From calculations based on the design of the Bored Pile foundation of various meter sizes and depths, it can be concluded that an effective foundation is sufficient with a depth of 6.00 meters.
