Harapan University Medan is one of the private companies engaged in the education sector that has quite a lot of inventory or assets to inventory. However, so far, reports for each item that has been repaired or that cannot be repaired (severely damaged goods) are only recorded in the inventory card and can then be transferred to the inventory ledger. recording and storage are still kept in the form of files or files stored in the administration. Departing from the problems above, the author tries to conduct research by designing e-inventory. In this study the authors used the CodeIgniter framework, which is a framework that uses the MVC model (model, view and controller) to build a dynamic website using the PHP programming language. The purpose of this research is to record the assets of goods at the Harapan University of Medan. Later this application is expected to be able to record items in the engineering and computer faculties environment until the placement of the desired items.
