One of the management functions in the operations of a company is inventory control because inventory policies will relate to investment and service to consumers. CV. Parna Jaya Motor is a company located in Indrapura, coal district, North Sumatra province engaged in the sale and repair of motorcycles. The problem in this company does not have a good spare part inventory control system, causing consumer demand to be less fulfilled. To overcome this, the company must know which spare parts are the priority to be controlled, it is necessary to have an ABC classification, then the MRP calculation to find out the number of orders (EOQ), the frequency of orders (F), the total cost of inventory (TC), the amount of safety stock (SS) and when to reorder (ROP).
The results of data processing using the above method obtained results for the ABC classification of 45 types of spare parts, it was found that the spare parts belonging to class A consisted of 13 types of spare parts with an investment value of Rp. 807,455,000 or 68% of the total investment, class B consisted of 12 types of spare parts with a value of investment is Rp 250,323,000 or 21% of the total investment and class C consists of 20 types of spare parts with an investment value of Rp 127,266,000 or 11% of the total investment. Of the 13 types of class A spare parts that are prioritized, EOQ results range from 28-293 units, F results range from 7-13 times/year, SS results range from 23-82 units, ROP results range from 95-303 units, and The TC for each spare part ranges from Rp 595,500-Rp 1,075,200 with the TC for all spare parts at Rp 10,101,900.
