Water is a source of life that is needed to fulfill and support human activities. With the development of all aspects of life as a result of the increasing rate of population growth and development, the need for water services also increases. Pancurbatu sub-district is one of the sub-districts that really needs clean water due to uncertain weather factors and the decline in the quality and carrying capacity of the environment which affects the availability of clean water in the area. Therefore, this thesis aims to determine the current clean water demand in Pancurbatu Subdistrict and to determine the projected clean water demand for the next 10 years. In the next few years, the population will increase rapidly which will certainly affect the increase in the number of clean water needs. The availability of existing water is not necessarily able to balance the increasing demand for clean water. This research uses the geometric method and the arithmetic method. Based on the results of the data obtained, the population growth of Pancurbatu District is 1.58% per year. The projected population in 2023 is 97064 people. The water demand in the entire Pancurbatu Subdistrict in a day in 2023 is 280.17 liters/second. The maximum day water demand in 2023 is
322.20 liters/second and the peak hour water demand is 490.30 liters/second. After analysis, the projected population in 2033 was 112945 people. The water demand in the entire Pancurbatu sub-district in a day in 2033 is 327.08 liters/second. The maximum day water demand in 2033 is 376.14 liters/second and the peak hour water demand is 572.39 liters/second.
