Seunapet Bend is located on the Banda Aceh-Medan National Road, precisely STA
± 64.00 in the Seulawah mountain area, Aceh Regency. Seunapet Bend in the Seulawah Valley is an area prone to traffic accidents with a fairly sharp bend angle and directly adjacent to a ravine. The aim of this research is to determine the evaluation calculation of accident rates at the Seunapet bend of the Banda Aceh – Medan national road from 2020 – 2023 and to make precautions that must be taken at the Seunapet bend of the Banda Aceh – Medan national road at STA ± 64.00. Based on the research results, it is concluded that in the case of the Seunapet Road Section, the remaining life of the pavement under normal load conditions for the next 20 years is 8.04%. This means that road pavement services will decrease in the next 20 years, this happens because the load on the road pavement increases every year. The condition of the age of the road pavement that vehicles pass through in normal conditions has decreased by 0.48 years from the planned age for the next 20 years. The age of the road pavement that vehicles pass through in normal conditions has decreased by 4.5 years from the planned age for the next 20 years. Based on the calculation of the Degree of Road Damage Value (DKJ) on a 2 axle truck with a load of <20 tonnes, a 2 axle truck with a load of >30 tonnes, and a 3 axle truck with a load of >70 tonnes is overloaded because the value is >1. Judging from passing vehicles, the Truck Factor value for road pavement is obtained, namely normal load conditions TF 3.68 > 1 and overload conditions TF 10.35 > 1 where this value indicates that the road damage is due to passing vehicles.
