dc.description.abstract For the smooth running of a project, management is needed that will manage the project from start to finish, namely project management. Project management has a special nature, where management work time is limited by a predetermined schedule. Rapid changes in conditions require every leader involved in the project to be able to anticipate the situation and formulate the necessary forms of action. Problems that often occur in projects where the previously determined schedule is often not completed on time due to various reasons. To overcome problems that often occur and also to ensure that the project time planned in the time schedule is achieved according to what has been determined, it is necessary to carry out an analysis using the PERT method and analyze the project time by accelerating activities using CPM. The data used is data from the Special Lung Hospital Development Project for North Sumatra Province. From the research that has been carried out, the results obtained are that the possibility of the project being completed according to the time schedule based on analysis using the PERT method is 98.42%. For the analysis of activity acceleration using the CPM method, the results obtained were that in the acceleration process there was a maximum acceleration when the project could be accelerated by up to 150 days.
