Roads are one of the factors that influence the development of development in Indonesia. The quality of roads is proportional to the level of development in Indonesia. One of the factors that influences the quality of roads is the materials used in making roads. There are several materials that can be used as asphalt mixers, one of which is styrofoam. Styrofoam has material properties that are very light, stiff, translucent and cheap. This makes styrofoam have the potential to become a mixing material used in everyday life but is little utilized. The use of modified asphalt using a Styrofoam mixture still has to go through several stages of testing and evaluation. The results of an asphalt content of 4.5% with the addition of 5% styrofoam were able to match the optimum asphalt content specifications of 5.5% HKA. Samples that failed to meet the standard minimum specifications were 4.5% asphalt content without the addition of styrofoam. Samples with an asphalt content of 4.5% with The addition of 3% styrofoam is not enough to reach the asphalt content specification of 5.5% HKA. From this research, it was found that the addition of Styrofoam waste to the AC-BC asphalt mixture had good value and was able to exceed the optimum value of the 5.5% asphalt content used by HKA.
