Systems that are accessed online and multi-user are very vulnerable to theft of information/data. In the exchange of data contents can be manipulated by third parties so that data with different contents will be received by the recipient. Therefore, a mechanism is needed to secure the data so that the data cannot be read or manipulated by unauthorized parties. The online attendance system is a system that requires data security methods. This study aims to apply the Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) cryptographic algorithm to the Online Attendance System. Security is done by encrypting user password data. This research produces a Web-Based Attendance System with data security using the RSA method.
