Sigalingging - Huta Jungak Road is an access road for residential areas to increase economic growth. In an effort to support this, it is necessary to improve existing roads and adapt them to traffic conditions in this area. It is hoped that improving the pavement of good road construction will be able to carry the load of passing vehicles without causing significant damage to the road construction itself. The appropriate type of pavement is flexible pavement. To get good function, of course it requires good design and successful implementation so that it is in accordance with the design. In this thesis, an analysis of the calculation of the thickness of flexible pavement layers is carried out on the provincial road section 65 Sigalingging – Huta Jungak using the Pt T-01-2002-B and AASHTO 1993 methods with the aim of obtaining more efficient planning results. The results of calculating flexible pavement layers using the Pt T-01-2002-B method were obtained, Surface Course thickness = 10 cm (consisting of AC-WC = 4 cm, AC-BC = 6 cm), and Foundation Layer Top (Base Course / Class A Aggregate) = 11 cm. In the 1993 AASHTO method, the surface layer thickness (Surface Course) = 11 cm (consisting of AC-WC = 5 cm, AC-BC = 6 cm, and Upper Foundation Layer (Base Course / Class A Aggregate) = 13 cm. From The results of these calculations are recommended to use the results of the analysis of flexible pavement layer thickness calculations using the Pt T-01-2002-B method because it is more efficient than using the AASHTO 1993 method.
