Geographic Information System is the information needed in transportation technology. Understanding Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system that has the ability to retrieve, store, analyze, and display information based on geographic references. This geographic information system is needed to locate a location and display a map containing that location. Searching for the nearest route is a search needed by customers, with this application, it will make it easier for users or users to find the nearest location from the user's position, by displaying a map that completes the route to the location, supported by mechanics who are experienced in their field. The Haversine Formula is a very accurate equation that functions to determine the distance between two points on the earth. It has been estimated that the earth is flat but is a plane that has a certain degree of curvature. The Haversine Formula is an important equation in navigation, giving the distance in a circle between two points on the sphere of longitude and latitude. The system is implemented in the search for mechanical data for recommended motor vehicles. The result of the implementation of the system is the Haversine Formula to search for application data based on scalar or distance data (without taking into account the effective direction).
Keywords: Mechanical search system, closest position, search algorithm, Haversine formula.
