dc.description.abstract Pelton turbine is one of the most efficient types of water turbine compared to other impulse turbines. The blades are shaped so that the water jet will hit the center point of the blade and the water jet will turn in both directions so that it can reverse the water jet well and free the blade from side forces. Nozzle diameter, number of nozzles, and geometric shape of the turbine blade. A nozzle is a tool or device designed to control the direction or characteristics of a fluid flow (especially to increase speed) when exiting (or entering) a closed space or pipe. A nozzle can be used to direct or modify fluid flow. Nozzles are often used to control the flow rate, speed, direction, mass, shape, and or pressure of the emerging flow. The research was conducted through data and field observations. From the results of the calculations and analyses carried out, it can be concluded that the comparison of the performance of the Pelton turbine and the analysis carried out shows that there is an influence of the nozzle spray distance and variations in the opening of the water discharge regulator valve on the performance of the Pelton turbine where the greater the distance between the nozzle spray and the turbine blade, the performance of the resulting Pelton turbine will be small. In the water discharge control valve opening, the larger the valve opening, the better the performance of the Pelton turbine produced. The best Pelton turbine performance is obtained with a nozzle jet diameter of 20 mm and a nozzle opening radius of 14.5 mm, with the highest turbine power value of 480 watts.en_US
