This research aims to develop a Vigenère Cipher algorithm based on a dynamic key as a solution to enhance the security of text message transmission. The Vigenère Cipher is a classical cryptographic method that exhibits weaknesses against frequency analysis, particularly when a static key is employed. In this study, we propose a novel approach by implementing a dynamic key that changes with each message sent. This dynamic key is generated through a pseudorandom algorithm that takes into account the time of transmission and the characteristics of the message. The research methodology includes theoretical analysis of cryptography, algorithm implementation, and testing the effectiveness and efficiency of encryption and decryption processes. The results indicate that the developed algorithm not only enhances message security through increased key complexity but also maintains the speed of both encryption and decryption. Furthermore, analysis of various message transmission scenarios demonstrates that this algorithm can effectively counter frequency analysis attacks, which are often a threat to traditional cryptographic methods. This study significantly contributes to the development of a more secure and practical text message security system, and opens avenues for further applications in modern cryptography.
