The problem that often arises is the occurrence of blocking conditions at the location of the vacuum and sangray, where the goods have been processed at the cooling location but must wait at that location because the packaging location has not finished producing existing products. Therefore, a production system simulation engineering is needed. By simulating the production process to find out the location of the problem, then from the simulation results can be carried out repair simulations (engineering) which are expected to overcome blocking problems. This research is a type of quantative descriptive research involving events, situations, and also actual conditions. Promodel software as a tool for making simulation engineering, and from the simulation results can be seen the results of the calculation of the sihobuk bean process. The sangray and packaging locations experienced a fairly high blocking process, namely 7.49% for the sangray process and 22.93% for the packaging location. The results of this simulation are still not good and lack effectiveness. So a production process engineering is carried out by increasing the number of machines at the packaging location which was originally 1 unit to 2 units in order to reduce the blocking process that occurs. From the results of research with the conduct of production simulations can be found the status and condition of each work site, and problems that arise during the production process. The results of improvements in production process simulation engineering are known to increase the performance of the production system, where the improvement that occurs can be seen from the state of blocking that has been resolved and optimization of the work system. With the addition of machines to the packaging location, production time becomes faster so that effectiveness increases. This production process engineering can be applied to achieve better work effectiveness because the output results prove better than the system used in the field.
