| dc.description.abstract | Construction projects often face challenges in meeting predetermined schedules, leading to delays and increased costs. This study aims to analyze time and cost acceleration using the crashing method by adding working hours (overtime) on the road reconstruction project in Huta III Nagori Dolok Pamongan, Bandar Huluan Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The research was conducted to determine whether the addition of working hours (overtime) yields efficient results and to evaluate the effectiveness of adding working hours as a solution to accelerate project duration without compromising quality standards. The crashing method was chosen to minimize additional costs while accelerating project completion time. The results of the study indicate that the project duration can be shortened from 156 days to 135 days, reducing the initial schedule by 21 days.
