dc.description.abstract Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) is a small-scale power plant (<100 kW) that uses hydropower as its driving force. One of the turbines for micro-hydro power plants is the screw turbine (Archimedes turbine). The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the large inclination angle on the performance of the screw turbine. The method used in this research is an experimental method by varying the inclination angle of the shaft to determine the effect on the power that will be generated. The inclination angle of the shaft used is 20°, 30ᵒand 45ᵒ. The largest experimental results on hydraulic power values were obtained at a turbine shaft angle of 45° which produced a power of 2,59 Watts, while the smallest value was obtained at an angle of 20° which produced a power of 0,78 Watts. The maximum efficiency value is obtained at an angle of 45° turbine shaft which produces a power of 5,31%, while the smallest value is obtained at an angle of 20° which produces a power of 3,71%. The maximum torque value is obtained at an angle of 45° turbine shaft which produces a power of 0.0081 N/m, Keywords: Archimedes turbine, hydraulic power, efficiency value, torque value en_US
