This study aims to design an educational game application called Scambler, which focuses on the construction of standard Indonesian words, using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach. In the context of the rapid development of the gaming industry driven by technological advancements, games serve not only as a means of entertainment but also as an effective educational medium. Through this research, the author explores the potential of MDLC in integrating educational content with enjoyable game elements, thereby creating an engaging and beneficial learning experience for users. The MDLC method was chosen for its ability to combine understanding and learning models with Play er competencies, which are used to design structured and educational gamePlay experiences. The Scambler game application is designed to provide challenges that match the Play ers' understanding and skills, ensuring that the content presented is relevant and beneficial in improving Indonesian language skills. The research results indicate that educational games like Scambler can help enhance Indonesian language skills through an interactive approach.
