dc.description.abstract One of the main problems faced by parents in determining complementary foods is the difficulty in determining appropriate foods. The United Nation Children Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommend efforts to reduce child morbidity and mortality by providing breast milk which should be given for at least 6 months. This research aims to implement a decision support system in determining the optimal complementary feeding using the Weight Product method. The Weight Product method can help in making decisions but calculations using the Weight Product method only produce the largest value that will be selected as the best alternative. With this decision support system, parents can get the right food recommendations based on the criteria set. The result of this study is the Weight Product (WP) Method in implementing a decision support system for determining website-based breastfeeding complementary foods successfully provides food suggestions which are the highest value of the Weight Product (WP) Method calculation.
